The fact that the moors saved Europe from the dark ages long before this book was written and this guy still had the nerves to write such rubbish. Lol!

while I'm sure this was seriously written at the time, the decades have not been kind to the thoughts in this book. my boyfriend and I laughed our hearts out for hours with this book. I recommend it for having a good time, but not as a scientific or theological resource.

There will always be those that take issue with the form with which information is presented. Especially in today's squeamish and politicized "culture". Where it is unfashionable to question the "common knowledge" that "all races are equal". Which clearly they are not.

Even as recently as 2006 studies by medical institutions have been demonstrating the "IQ gap" between whites and blacks is quite real and consistent, regardless of type of test used. It is also demonstrated that at a minimum of 80% of intelligence is inherited.

Such studies are, of course, being purged from the sites as we become "more civilized", however, they may still be found on the Wayback Machine if one looks.

As with many of the books of the 19th century, this one provides a plain-spoken assessment of what was in front of the observer and is a very interesting read for those wishing to learn more about the subject.
